A Family Golf Club Membership is included with your HOA membership, but remember to keep up-to-date on HOA dues to enjoy the complimentary golf membership! The Golf Course will receive a report on the last day of the month of all accounts owing $250 or more and deactivate any golf membership accounts that are listed on this report. HOA Members will not be considered a Copper Mill Golf Course member until a new report is run the following month and the balance is received before then. Late payments, online receipts, calls to Community Management or the Board will not be accepted to re-activate your account. HOA Members must wait until the end of the next month when a new report is run.
Membership Basics – From the General Manager
For some of you, being a member of the club and having access to the facility is new to you. I would like to invite each of you to attend any of the events or come on by the clubhouse to meet the staff and learn more about the club. During that time, we will register you as a member, explain the process of making tee times, review club policies, and answer any question that you may have. In the mean-time, below is some basic information on the club.
To begin using your membership, you must first register at the Pro Shop. You will need a valid Photo ID that matches your street address on HOA records. We will need to take your photograph for your membership file which will be used for membership verification for use of the club. If your spouse or children will be using the course, please bring them with you at time of enrollment. If you are an existing member, please stop in the shop as we need to register you as well.
All members must check in with the pro shop before they begin play on the course. This is necessary so that the Pro Shop staff can alert the member to any special circumstances they may encounter while on the course. This also allows the staff to control traffic as well as know who is on the course in the event of an emergency. Please do not start play on the course without checking in with the pro shop first.
The membership covers greens fees only and does not include a cart fee. For those wishing to use a cart during their round, there are 3 options:
- Use a golf cart provided by the club. $15 per person per round. ($10 for twilight golf)
- Sign up for a cart plan for $60 per month. This allows unlimited use of carts during the month.
- Purchase a monthly Trail fee for using your own private golf cart for $30 per month. All privately owned carts must be registered with the golf club and be insured through your homeowner’s policy.
Children under the age of 16 are not permitted to drive a golf cart on golf course grounds at any time for any purpose. There is no cart fee for children under the age of 12.
Please note that it is club policy for 2 players to share a cart, with each paying the cart fee of $15 per player. If 2 members decide to each have their own cart, they will be asked to share one cart. If the member refuses, they each may be charged an additional fee of $15 each.
I am looking forward to meeting all of you and working towards making Copper Mill the thriving club that I know it can be. If you have any questions, please feel free to stop by the course at any time. My self and our team are readily available to answer any questions that you may have.
Sincerely,
Jeff Stange
